The park surrounding the hotel
As shown on the ground plan, a beautiful park is located behind the Emerald Forest Hotel, adjacent to the banqueting section. The park spans 50 hectares (123.55 acres), offering ample space for a leisurely stroll during meetings or after dinner.
The park is owned by the city and is open to the public, though it is permissible to organize events there. Over the years, various groups have used the park without causing any issues for the hotel or its guests. According to TripAdvisor reviews, hotel guests greatly appreciate the proximity of such a spacious park. The Bergman family has occasionally hosted activities in the park for banqueting guests, an event that is legal but requires a city permit for each activity. So far, the city has consistently granted these permits, as the events have been limited in scope.
However, if you plan to make structural changes or build in the park, obtaining a permit will be much more challenging. Additionally, any activity held in the public park must be open to all who wish to participate, in accordance with city regulations.
