Tasks during the game days: the 2nd, 3th and 4th of November
When ever you have time, look ahead to what is coming. Some things on Friday (like the three minutes of fame) might bring you to start preparing today. Hand out all of the tasks. Organize your management team asap.
- Task 7: Wednesday
Starting day of the game, introduction and finalizing the basic set-up of the hotel. A hard-days work, all at once!
> 09.30 - 10.00 Official opening and Kick-Off
> 10.00 - 12.00 Work on your Team file, first section, strategic choices. Also fill out and explain your preliminary decisions in your Team File and financial sheet. Also check the Help section and Hotel info files on specific subjects.
> 12.00 - 13.00 Break
> 13.00 - 13.30 Decision- making for Hospitality (BCU led activity)
> 13.30 - 15.30 Prepare the Trade Fair. Check this page Trade Fair for more information. This is an important fair, one which will influence your success in the game. This offers you the opportunity to present your (new ideas on the) hotel and - very important - check out the made plans to be changed? competition. Be creative, and have a look at the pictures of Trade Fairs from other competitions. All team members must participate in the Trade Fair.
> 15.30 - 16.30 Finalizing your decisions and explanations for year 1. Remember 16.30 is the absolute deadline!
- Task 8: Thursday
Get business started! Do pay attention to your social media, if you didn't already. How about your website? Split-up the tasks, no time to breathe.
> 09.00 - 09.30 Results year 1, instructions year 2.
> 09.30 - 10.00 Prep your Trade Fair stand
> 10.00 - 11.30 Emerald Forest Trade Fair
> 11.30 - 12.30 Break
> 12.30 - 13.00 Start to look at your financial sheet. Reflect on the results of year one. Decide on year 2 and give proper explanations and calculations. Fill out and explain your preliminary decisions in your Team File and financial; sheet. Also check the Help section and Hotel info files on specific subjects.
> 13.00 - 14.00 A new task awaits you
> 14.00 - 15.00 Solving the new task
> 15.00 - 16.30 Finalizing your decisions and explanations for year 2. Maybe the new tasks has influence on them as well. 16.30 is the absolute deadline!
- Task 9: Friday
Keep paying attention to your social media, and be creative. Surviving the day!.
> 08.00 - 09.00 Meet with your team, agree a location
> 09.00 - 09.30 Results year 2, instructions year 3.
> 09.30 - 10.30 Look at your financial sheet. Reflect on the results of year two. Decide on year 3 and give proper explanations and calculations. Fill out and explain your preliminary decisions in your Team File and financial sheet. Also check the Help section and Hotel info files on specific subjects.
> 10.30 - 11.30 Prepare your three minutes of fame
> 11.30 - 12.30 3 minutes of fame!
> 12.30 - 13.00 Break
> 13.00 - 14.00 Finalizing your decisions and explanations for year 3. Maybe the 3 minutes have had influence on them as well. 14.00 is the absolute deadline!

Tasks after the game
Your staff will tell you what the next steps will be: the evaluations, other tasks related to the game etc. And they will clarify if there is more things to do.
