Game-based learning stimulates the frontal brain
Interesting and important studies on Game Based Learning by Kober e.a., showing the relevance and effectiveness of working with simulations or games. Also positive effects were reported to be higher while engaging in the game-based version as compared to the non-game-based task version. These research results underscore the potential of game-based learning environments to promote more efficient learning by means of attention and reward up-tuning. Read the research paper here.
