Step 5/10: Chose a new hotel name
On choosing a new name for the Emerald Forest Hotel, keep in mind a few things as the new name for your hotel is a strategic choice and not changeable after the first year play. Think of:
- Check the new name on the internet. What is it associated with?
- Maybe check search volumes in for instance in Google Trends
- Does it match with your strategy?
- Does it fit in with logo and slogan?
- How will old customers react on this?
- Does it match with your target groups?
- Does it mean anything in your language and in English?
- Is it pronounceable in English?
- Beware of legal rights in choosing a name (like characters, persons, films, TV-programs etc.), if so: how to handle this?
Be sure to fill your name out on your Team file in the proper place!
Name of your city
Your city has a specific name: but all of the cities are alike when you start managing your hotel.
