All the sessions during the game week are very instructive and compulsory (and often fun, of course...). Tasks 1 to 4 should have been finalized previous week: see Game_13UK_home.
- Task 5: Wednesday 25th February - Preparations
Starting day of the game, introduction and finalizing the basic set-up of the hotel.
> 14.00 - 14.30 Official opening and Kick-Off
> 14.00 - 16.00 Meet with your team, work on your team page on this platform. Be sure it is ready by the end of the day. Be sure to bring down the size of pictures or photo's used to 150kb. Use for instance the tool shrinking pictures.

- Task 6: Thursday 26th February (year 01) - Day of Creativity
On this first day your team will demonstrate its creativity and thereby present the new hotel in a more promising strategic direction, as well as distinguishing your hotel from your competitors.

- Task 7: Friday 27th February (year 02) - Day of Calculations
Analyze the results, the operational costs made and the key performance indicators for your hotel. On this day, we focus on the calculations that a manager often has to make. The language of the "financials" is key in the hotel sector. Further, linking these to benchmarks is crucial to keep profitability. After receiving your first results (on year 01) you need to analyze them, in order to decide on how to run the hotel in the next year.
