Chose a new name
On choosing a new name for the Emerald Forest Hotel, keep in mind a few things as the new name for your hotel is a strategic choice and not changeable after the first year played. The first things you will have to do with the chosen name is to fill your name out in your teamsheet as soon as possible.
Furthermore, think of:
- Does it match with your strategy?
- How will old customers react on this?
- Does it match with your target groups?
- Does it mean anything in your language and in English?
- Is it pronounceable in English?
- Check the new name on the internet. What is it associated with?
- Maybe check search volumes in for instance Google.
- Beware of legal rights in choosing a name (like characters, persons, films, TV-programs etc.), if so: how to handle this?
- Changing a name is very expensive and nearly impossible.
- Does it fit in with logo and slogan?
Be sure to fill your name out on your teampage of course, but also in your teamsheet!
