Organize a press conference. The press conference will be held online and will mainly focus on the handling of the crisis, keeping the new strategy of your hotel in mind.
Situation
The hotel has always been a kind of family hotel, also for guests from the business market. Now that you have set your new strategic goals, it is the right time to give a press conference about this as well. It seems a bit old-fashioned, but this can contribute to a good relationship with the (regional) press, which may turn out to be beneficial in the years to come.
Goal
By having a good relationship with all kinds of press, ensuring free publicity, short lines of communication and good contacts are needed.
Ultimately, this should lead to a better online and offline image of the hotel, more engagement and more bookings.
