During week 17 and 18 you will have the next tasks
All the classes are useful and compulsory (and often fun, of course).
- Task 6: Monday 20th April (year 0) - Day of the Trade Fair
On this first day your team will demonstrate its creativity and thereby present the new hotel in a more promising strategic direction, as well as distinguishing your hotel from your competitors.

- Task 7: Tuesday the 21th (year 1) - Day of Creativity
Analyse the results,\ in the past, look at decisions and the operational costs to be made made and the key indicators for your hotel: focus on the decisions a manager often has to make. "financial language" is key in the hotel sector. Further, linking these to benchmarks is crucial to profitability.

- Task 8: Wednesday 22th April (year 2) - Day of calculations
Analyze the results, the operational costs made and the key performance indicators (KPI's) for your hotel. On this day, focus on the calculations a manager often has to make. "Financial language" is key in the hotel sector. Further, linking these to benchmarks is crucial to profitability. After receiving your first results (on year 1) you need to study them, in order to decide on how to react in the next year.

- Task 9: Thursday 23th April (year 3) - Day of Managing the Company
The managing of a hotel relies heavily on the ability to communicate with customers as well as your staff, especially when "exceptional" situations arise. Expect a negative event (crisis) to happen this year. The hotel management will need to deal directly, actively and creatively with the event, as well as to take timely decisions to resolve it.

- Task 10: Friday 24th April (year 4) - Day of Promotion
On this day your team will show how to sell its services and make hotel promotions attractive through the use of internet and social media. The competitions finish today. Final results will be determined and the teams with the most profit and that were the most creative will be awarded.

> 12.00 - 14.00 Analysis of the results; make new decisions and preparations for the 3 minutes of fame. Participation of all team members mandatory!
> 14.00 - 16.00 3 minutes city of Amstelburg and Budano together.
> 14.00 - 16.00 3 minutes city of Copenstadt and Drakovski together.

- Task 12: Tuesday - Friday - Financial assignment
Handing in the financial assignment will be on Friday the 1th of May. Do work on this assignment seriously during this week as this accounts for 50% of your final mark!
