A Trade Fair is a place to directly communicate with the audience: business-to-business or consumers. On a traditional fair, you have a booth.
So far, your efforts have been aimed at promoting, managing and developing your hotel. Now, you are now challenged to pitch and give a transparent and convincing picture of the power of your team. What successes can your team claim? You have probably also made some mistakes along the way; as success usually comes at a price. You might have also learned new insights during the process. You got to know your team members, showing their qualities maybe at times you least expect it. You also got to know yourself a bit better. All in all, your team has gained experience thanks to all efforts, interactions, decisions and creations, while running the hotel. Make sure that your pitch does paint a clear picture of these accomplishments, but don’t hesitate to also show where you have learned from failure and how you have faced difficulties along the road.
Some examples of Trade Fairs are

You can expect a mixed audience of visitors: both press and sector-related professionals, as well as the 'regular' public. Not in 2020 though (Covid). All Trade Fairs are cancelled, but you still would like to reach your goals! This year, the Trade Fair will be organized online and digitally.
The pitch will be performed in your own city MS Teams. The audience will consist of your fellow students, the coaches and staff members, and maybe guests. After the pitch, the jury might ask your team (two) questions, they still have. After all the pitches, the jury will decide on the winning team. The complete audience will also be asked to vote for their favourite. The most favourite team will win 100,000,- euro bonus and a creativity point.
At this fair, you will have to present your company to the press, to the general public, to your competitors and anyone else visiting the fair.
