Situation
A Trade Fair is the place to communicate with the audience, which might be b-to-b or (final) consumers. On a traditional Fair you have booth,
The Trade Fair we are thinking of now, is like the
ITB Berlin, WTM in London or
Dutch Tourism Expo. So a mixed audience of visitors: both press and branch-related, as well as 'normal' public. Not this year though, as you already know. All the Trade Fairs are cancelled but you still would like to reach your goals! This year, the Trade Fair will be done digitally.
Goal
The Trade Fair still has three goals:
1. Presenting your new hotel
Who are the visitors? At this fair, you will have to present your company to the press, to the general public, to your competitors and just anyone else visiting the fair.
2. Adjusting your strategy
Lister very carefully to reactions, try to get an idea on the plans of other hotels as well. You can slightly adjust your strategy to this.
3. Creativity
There is a Competition on creativity: you performance at the Trade Fair by presenting yourself in a consistent and creative way contributes to this competition.
