Promotional video
Situation
The Emerald Forest Hotel doesn't have a real promotional video for its customers. The website is a bit old fashioned and does not have any video, and until now, mainly photo's have been used. The same goes voor de social media.
Goal
A promotional video should convince potential customers to book the hotel, in it's new setting. Next to his, it should inform viewers on the new strategy, on what the hotel offers. It should be usable on the website, on YouTube and maybe on Trade fairs e.g.
Task, deliverable
Make a video to promote your hotel:
- The video should be posted on YouTube, accessible to all and with a proper name ,tags, and description
- It should be no longer than 60 seconds
- The content should make clear why your hotel is a good choice and inline with your strategy and new image
- The video can be aiming just at the business market or leisure market
- Beware of IP (music, images etc.)
- There should be a call-to-action
Is is not about the best editing of the ideo, though try to make it acceptable. You can use software of your choice. Read carefully the conditions of the software chosen, so to prevent that the software doesn't render after the [production, or just processes the first 30 seconds etc. In (most) software the video made, just consistS of a file with links of a few kb's and all your separate 'files'(which you cannot just drag to another map). It only 'turns' into a video after ''rendering', which actually creates the video (many mb's)

- Does the video reflect the strategy in a proper way?
- From perspective of a (potential) customer: is the video interesting
- Is the call-to-action realistic and doable?
- All all the sources accounted for?
