In the game you have a number of possibilities to influence your hotel. The Team File which you have a private login link to. In this file you will find four tabs:

• tab preparation where you start, introduce your hotel, strategy etc.
• tab decisions where you, after the preparation make your decisions and give explanations each year.
• tab dashboard where you can find an overview of the most important financial results
• tab results where your find an operating review and other details on results and costs after each year

After a year has passed,the new dashboard and the results will only be visible after releasing by your coach.
There is a Demo team you can check, with a filled out Team File.

First things to do : your Preparations

Taking over means you will have to make a lot of decisions within a short time-period. You wished you had the luxury to think things over for weeks, well, sorry you don't have that time. The hotel is opened for business from the moment you take over. So you need to decide on a lot of things before you can run your hotel.

This section Preparation comprises:

• A new Hotel name
• Introducing your management-team and the roles of all members
• Website: maybe not perfect (yet), but you need to have one
• Facebook page: maybe not perfect (yet), but you need to have one
• Making a management team contract
• A new strategy for your hotel
• Decide on your new (or same) target market and-or Target groups
• A team picture of the new management team, so you
• A new Logo, make it, present it and explain it
• Think of a Slogan, reflecting the new strategy of your hotel
• Facebook page: maybe not perfect (yet), but you need to have one
• Another social medium you are going to use. Maybe not perfect (yet), but you need to have one

You really need all of this, before you can make your decisions in any year, which you will do on the tab Decisions.
