The name Prana find his origine in the religion Hinduism and is also found in Buddhism. Prana is the life force that everyone needs to function at mentally, physically and emotionally level. It is the connexion between everything that exists.
We have chosen to give this name on our hotel, because we want to offer customers who stay with us a wonderful time where they can find a lot of energy. We want to give guests the opportunity to become aware of the fact that they are living ‘now’ and they can also focus on ‘now’. Hereby we hope that the quest come to the true nature of their person. This way the guests come closer to the core of life and despite the many problems, positive and negative moods and setbacks, guests can experience in our hotel that life and being human is something beautiful and good. Prana is a beautiful word of what our hotel guests want, life energy.

Our new logo

Our logo is chosen by the 3 managers of our hotel Demi, Tessa and Gitta and fit perfectly by our concept. The logo is red, simple and in a form of a temple. Those 3 things are linked on the concept of our hotel. Red, because that is a very familiar colour in the hindoeism culture. Simple because we want to offer our guests a very peaceful and quiet stay and in the form of a temple because we want to offer a escape from the rush of the ‘normal’ life.

Social media and internet

We will focus on two types of target groups for our hotel. Dutch tourists and international businessman. Therefor we will use different types of social media for our marketing mix. We will use Facebook since this type of medium is the most popular for both our targets. *
We will also make use of a twitter account which will focus mainly on information about the hotel. For example, new concepts and changes within the hotel but also activities organized in the hotel like yoga, massages and swim activities that match the inner self concept that we try to create for our guests.
Instagram will be used, mainly to attract the customer through photos of the hotel and the staff so they get familiar with the concept and the hotel before booking. Also marketing stunts like discounts will be presented on Instagram.
Besides using social media as a marketingtool we also made a new website that matches our new 'prana' theme. On this website customers can book there trip and find more information about the hotel and our managementteam.

The great mission of Prana Hotel is to give people the opportunity to escape from the busy world and find inner peace and relaxation in our hotel.
Within our hotel respect is the main aspect we try to centre for our guest. Every guest will have space and supporting company at the same time so the ‘prana’, of finding the real centre of your life can be achieved.
Inspired by the Buddhism we as managers from the Prana hotel find out how important the innerpeace is for people. Through this concept we try to make the world a better place.
Vision:
Through slide changes the hotel will change from a simple business hotel into an innovative luxery hotel where people will experience the peacefull environment and atmosphere of the Prana Concept. Using interaction tools that will help the guest to find the centre of himself we will achieve a strong position on the market.
Objectives:
- Within one year we want to have at least 100 likes
- After 2 years our homepage will be visited at least 200 times
- After 1 year 70 percent of the booked rooms had a positive outcome
- The whole hotel has free wifi and tv’s in every room, this will be achieved after the first 10 months.
- After 4 years the occupancy rate will be at least 75% - Within one year we will have at least 100 followers.

Weekends and weekdays
<protect> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> </protect> We have a different focus on the weekends as we have on weekdays. In the weekends we would like to focus on the leisure en toerism industry. People that like to escape the busy world for a while and just want to focus on their own health and happiness. Our hotel can be either a romantic place or a place to be alone and just think about yourself and your life. To eat nice food and walk or do yoga in the Butanic garden.
On weekdays we focuss on the business people. Since our hotel has a very central place and is international foussed, business partners from all over the world can come to Prana and meet here in our beautifully renovated meetingoffic and rooms. After a hard day of work, they can find there peace in the beautifull garden or enjoy the swimmingpool, sauna or fitness.
