Organize a press conference. The press conference will be held online and will mainly focus on the new strategy of your hotel.

Situation

The hotel has always been a kind of family hotel, also for guests from the business market. Now that you have set your new strategic goals, it is the right time to give a press conference about this as well. It seems a bit old-fashioned, but this can contribute to a good relationship with the (regional) press, which may turn out to be beneficial in the years to come.

Goal

By having a good relationship with all kinds of press, ensuring free publicity, short lines of communication and good contacts are needed.
Ultimately, this should lead to a better online and offline image of the hotel, more engagement and more bookings.

Task, deliverable

Organize a press conference and make clear:

• Whom you will be inviting, why and how?
• What is the planned content of the press conference?
• When do you consider it to be a success?
• Execute the press conference
