A content calendar for social media. So, focus on the social media accounts your hotel has a direct influence on (not influencers).
Situation
As a hotel in this day and age, you can hardly ignore social media. You can use them in different ways. The 'old' Emerald Forest Hotel did almost nothing with social media. The hotel has a number of accounts, but no 'plan' or specific target. Now that you are taking over the hotel with a new strategy, it is the time to look at this!
Goal
The aim is to create a social media calendar for the coming year. With the help of this calendar, communication should be more efficiently and effectively, the SEO position of your hotel should be higher, ensure traffic-conversion towards the website, increase online engagement, ensure online presence and ensure a good online image.
Task, deliverable
This assignment concerns the content of your hotel's own social media accounts.
- Define which accounts 'belong' to this group: 'hotel', owned by staff e.g.
- Use a theoretical model to set up the content calendar for social media.
- Indicate which account, which media you are going to use.
- What is the purpose of each of these accounts and which audiences are targeted? Show that these audiences are also active on these media.
- How do you ensure that the messages are visible to the audiences?
- And above all, which messages do you plan, for which groups, when, with which expected results?
