Name of assignment
Create a set of amenities. Hotel amenities are desirable or useful features provided when booking or renting a room at a hotel, taking a flight e.g. The amenities provided in each hotel vary: in most hotels a number of amenities will be standard with all rooms and for free. In others, they may be optional for an additional cost. So, it is different from merchandise, which are products (probably tangible) that can be sold and have a strong relation to the hotel and it's strategy. It is also not the same as (promotional) give-aways, though there is a strong link between all three of them.
Situation
In hotel rooms, by tradition, a set of amenities is present. - The costs, though, have to be acceptable.
Task, deliverable

- What exactly the product should be (maybe more than just the bathrooms products) and why and for which target group?
- Make a mock-up or a mood board of what the 'branded' amenities will look like
- Determine the quantities needed
- Give an estimate of the costs per year (or per booking)
Assessed elements
- Do the amenities reflect the strategy?
- Is there a clear difference between amenities for free and items not for free (towels e.g.)?
- Are the figures realistic?
- Are the costs realistic and in proportion to the goals?
Additional information
- rooms, Number of guests
