You will get a mark for
In the Game, you will work on assignments and decisions which will be evaluated by your coach, after consulting [[Jill Jandal]].  
* Year zero, gameplay mark year00
Each year this will end up in  
** depending on your teampage on the platform as it is at the end of the first day of the gameplay.
* a Business mark from your coach
* Year 01, gameplaymark year01
* a Creativity mark from your coach
** depending on your decisions in year one, especially the explanation in your [[explanations form]]
Both will not be visible to teams, during the Game.
** depending on the activity in this year: year one the Trade Fair and your performance there.
* Year 02, gameplay mark year02
** depending on your decisions in year one, especially the explanation in your [[explanations form]]
** depending on the activity in this year: your financial [[dashboard]].
* Year 03, gameplaycmark year03
** depending on your decisions in year one, especially the explanation in your [[explanations form]]
** depending on the activity in this year: the challenge you get this day.
* Year 04, gameplay mark year04
** depending on your decisions in year one, especially the explanation in your [[explanations form]]
** depending on the activity in this year: the three minutes of fame.


These gameplay marks you will get each year will be given by your [[coach]]: you gameplay marks are private information and only visible to you on your [[teamsheet]] after each year. You mark can be any mark between 1 and 10 where 10 is excellent and brilliant and very hard to reach and below 6 will reflect a weak year or not fulfilled tasks. <br><br>
== Business mark ==
Each of the four years, the way you handle 'your business (assignment)' will be evaluated by a mark. This means, depending on your tasks in this year:
* Are your decisions (prices and costs) logical and linked to your strategy?
* Are the explanations (in the [[Team File]]) sufficient?
* Are there other signs that indicate good entrepreneurship?
* If there is anything else required in the business assignment of this year, how did your hotel perform on this?
How well all of this is done, will contribute to the Business mark in that year. This mark is a key element in the [[algorithm]] that allocates customers to your hotel, so it heavily influences your [[occupancy rate]]. It is invisible to you. The [[Business competition]] is strongly linked to this, though based on your [[Net profit|net profit]].


The 5 marks mentioned above are divided by 5 and the result is called the mark for gameplay.
== Creativity mark ==
Based on how you executed the creative assignment of each year, your team will get a creativity mark. To have a proper competition on creativity and to emphasize the importance, each year you get a new creativity mark. The average of all of your creativity marks, divines the ranking in the [[Creativity competition]].

Apart form the gameplay mark you also hand in an assignment on Friday linked to the activities during the gameplay.  
During the Game you will be evaluated on a number of things.<br>
This assignment is also rewarded with an assignment mark.
In any competition, there are different elements and different ways in which you are evaluated eventually. Ask your coaches for this.

The final mark depends for 50% on the gameplay mark and 50% on the assignment mark.
Depending on how your specific Game is evaluated, there will be a final mark for the whole of the Game.

If your teams is very creative and does so in a proper way it will contribute to the gameplay mark in that round. But creativity is just a part of that mark.  
One of the important things is to manage your team. The regular situation is, that the entire team gets the same marks. <br>
To have a proper competition on creativity and to emphasize the importance, you can earn creativity points. The maximum is ten points which is the extreme, the minimum is 1. Each year the points are added up to points earned in the years before:each year you start of with zero points again. This brings upon the ranking in the [[Competition on creativity]].
This may not the case if:
* a coach has good reasons to give different team members individual marks. For instance, as a result of lack of management attitude, missing out on meetings or sessions, or contribution to the team.
* team members alert their coach on the lack of commitment of a team member.

Marks
