It offers news and information, follows developments, gets facts from research reports, makes inventories of blogs. HITEC and HFTP are two of the professional organisations involved in its development.
The power of Bookings, Google and Kayak
The power of Bookings.com is enormous with over 28 million properties listed (1), the website and app offered in 50 languages. The company 'Bookings' is still growing: per day over 1.5 million (!) hotel night are booked.
Kayak also is a giant travel search engine. That means they look across the web to find your options on flights, hotels and rental cars. They will give the traveler the information needed so they can choose the option that’s right for them. Kayak also offer tools and features to help focus any search. It is owned and operated by Booking Holdings, which also owns Agoda.com and Priceline.com.
Google tries a get a piece of the cake with Google trips (Hotels) and by offering direct results in Google search. By doing so getting a commission of the hotels.
